This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Meghalaya Tourism Driver App ("the App"). By downloading and using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This policy is governed by the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Meghalaya Tourism Driver is a Government of Meghalaya initiative. We do not sell, rent, or monetise your personal data. Information collected is used solely for providing, managing, and improving tourism-related transportation services within Meghalaya.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as banking passwords, Aadhaar numbers, biometric information, or financial credentials unless explicitly required for a specific government service and with your consent.

The Meghalaya Tourism Driver App is intended exclusively for registered adult drivers.
Persons below 18 years of age are not permitted to register or operate driver accounts.
If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a minor without appropriate authorization, such information will be deleted promptly.
This Privacy Policy may be revised periodically to reflect changes in legal requirements, technology, or operational practices.
Any updated version will be published within the App, and continued use of the Meghalaya Tourism Driver App after such publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
